Common F & P Fridge Problems We Fix 

Most Fisher & Paykel faults trace back to a handful of components. Here’s what we diagnose and repair, and the usual cause:

• Fridge not cooling / freezer not freezing — commonly a failing ActiveSmart evaporator fan, blocked defrost system, or dirty condenser coils restricting airflow.
• Fridge running constantly with frost build-up — usually a faulty defrost timer, defrost heater or thermistor.
• Ice maker not making ice or jamming — water inlet valve, clogged water line, or a faulty ice-maker module.

• Fault code on the display or beeping door alarm — a sensor, control board or door-switch issue we can read and clear.
